The Gundam verses Zeong is perhaps one of the most wonderful things about mobile suit Gundam. To check out the full battle, simply watch the 49th episode of Gundam.
Long story short: Zeong was never finished in time. Char took her out for a joy ride and did battle with Amuro and the Gundam. The fight ended with the famous last shot (google that if you don't know what it is).
